In brief

What works, what to weigh

+

Strengths

4 reasons to book
  • Unbeatable Old Town location — A 3-minute walk from the cathedral and close to the Alcazar, the river, and the tapas bars of the center.
  • Friendly, attentive staff — Guests repeatedly mention the welcoming and helpful reception team, singling out Regis by name.
  • Great value for the area — Rooms from £21 per night, with high value ratings for the class of property.
  • Very clean facilities — Reviewers note the hostel is 'surprisingly clean', including the toilets and shared spaces.

Worth weighing

4 to weigh
  • Limited bathrooms per floor — One guest suggested more toilets on each floor would have improved the stay.
  • Comfort and facilities ratings are lower — The property scores 7.5 for both Comfort and Facilities, below its other category ratings.
  • Noise may be an issue in the bustling area — While a second-floor room was quiet, the central location means street noise is possible; one guest mentioned the bustle.
  • No pets allowed — The policy is strictly no pets, though one review mentions a pet – likely a service animal or a different property.

“Easy to find and great location. Surprisingly clean, with a comfortable room and very clean toilets, though more toilets on each floor would have been nice. Breakfast was decent, and overall it was a pretty good hostel.”

“A brilliant place for exploring Seville. Friendly staff, easy check-in, and a bright, tidy room with two bunks. Breakfast included tea, milk, butter, bread, and cereal. Fantastic location, about a 10–15-minute walk from Barrio Santa Cruz, and close to the Alcazar, the cathedral, the river, the Triana area, Plaza de las Armas bus station, and the tapas bars of the center. Absolutely amazing experience.”

04 — Location

Getting around Seville

The property sits in Seville.

Old Town: The hostel sits in Seville's Old Town, a maze of narrow streets filled with tapas bars, shops, and historic buildings. The cathedral and the Alcazar are an easy walk, and the river and Triana are also close.

Cathedral & Alcazar: Seville's cathedral is about a 3-minute walk, and the Alcazar is just beyond. Both are unmissable sights, and being this close means you can visit early or late to avoid the worst crowds.

Barrio Santa Cruz: The former Jewish quarter, with its whitewashed alleys and orange trees, is a 10–15-minute walk away. It's a beautiful area to wander, though it gets busy with tourists.
